A grizzly bear attack has been reported Thursday in the small, remote community of Bella Coola along the Central Coast of Canada's British Columbia province, according to regional and local officials.
Three children were among those injured when a grizzly emerged from the forest in a remote part of Canada and charged a group of 20 kids and their teachers.
Residents on the Nuxalk Nation in the Bella Coola Valley are being asked to stay indoors and away from the highway after a bear incident on Thursday, Nov. 20 around 3 p.m. With the situation still underway, RCMP and Conservation Officers have been called to respond, according to a post on the Nuxalk First Nation Facebook Page.
