Heading into the 2025-26 season, the Carolina Hurricanes had a busy offseason. After adding Nikolaj Ehlers and K’Andre Miller, they feel like one of the top contenders for the Metropolitan Division and the Stanley Cup.
Carolina has struggled to produce offensively at times in the Stanley Cup Playoffs and was limited to 10 goals - four in the first three games - in losing to the Florida Panthers in five games in the Eastern Conference Final. Ehlers scored five goals in eight playoff games last season.
Heading into the 2025-26 season, the Carolina Hurricanes have made some major additions to the group (i.e. Nikolaj Ehlers, K'Andre Miller), but for the most part, the group is primarily the same.
