Chelsea are looking to offload Christopher Nkunku this summer and the Frenchman is hoping to secure a move away from the Blues

Xavi Simons ’ transfer move to Chelsea could hinge on Christopher Nkunku leaving the club for Bayern Munich, according to reports in France. Nkunku, 27, is deemed surplus to requirements this summer and Bayern have been pushing to sign the 27-year-old Chelsea attacker on loan for the 2025/26 season.

And of course one of those many options — though probably one of the less likely ones — is one or both players staying with Chelsea. After all, they’re still training with the first team and have not been exiled to the Bomb Squad™ to hang out with the likes of Raheem Sterling and Ben Chilwell.
