Internet infrastructure platform Cloudflare was dealing with an outage on Nov. 18, which was causing users issues with apps like Spotify and X.
Cloudflare has explained the real reason behind its crash on November 18 which affected its Global network and caused major sites such as ChatGPT, Spotify, and X to go down.
Several major internet services appeared to have been affected by the Cloudflare issue, including X and Amazon Web Services, according to DownDetector.com, a website that tracks service outages based off user reports. Cloudflare said that it is focused on restoring service and that it would provide updates throughout the process.
Infrastructure company Cloudflare has been hit with what it calls "widespread 500 errors, [with] Dashboard and API also failing."
