Curaçao, Haiti, Panama and Scotland qualified Tuesday for next year’s men's FIFA World Cup in North America, while the USMNT thrashed Uruguay 5-1 to boost its standing.

Curaçao has made history by becoming the smallest nation by population to qualify for a World Cup, while Andre Blake's Jamaica must play the final round of intercontinental playoffs.

The World Cup’s field of 48 is almost full: The FIFA World Cup arrives in North America in 2026, with Gillette Stadium set to host seven matches. Fans will learn which teams will be playing locally when FIFA holds its “ Final Draw ” on Dec. 5.

Last night was the final matchday for Concacaf qualifying for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, and at least 7 teams entered the night with a fighting chance of securing either an outright berth in the World Cup or a spot in the inter-confederation playoff.
