The Kansas City Chiefs are adding depth to their backfield, signing former Houston Texans running back Dameon Pierce to the practice squad. The move, reported Sunday by NFL insider Jordan Schultz, offers a chance at redemption for a player who showed immense promise early in his career.
Had Kansas City lost to Indianapolis on Sunday, the Chiefs chances of making the postseason would've dropped to just 35%, not only benefiting the Colts, but benefiting every other team in the AFC fighting for a chance to make the Playoffs. That includes the Texans.
