Ian Machado Garry didn't hold back any punches when talking about Kamaru Usman's campaign for a UFC title shot at welterweight.

UFC star Ian Machado Garry has given his thoughts on Carlos Prates being ranked above him at welterweight. This weekend, Ian Machado Garry will battle former UFC champion Belal Muhammad at UFC Qatar. If he’s able to pick up the win, and do so convincingly, he could well put himself in position for a shot at the current king Islam Makhachev.

During his time suiting up for the Rockets, Machado wore only jersey No. 1 and put up 1.3 points and 1.0 assists per game.

Darren Till is not a fan of Ian Machado Garry. Machado Garry was involved in backstage incident with middleweight champion Khamzat Chimaev after Saturday's UFC Fight Night 265 event in Qatar. In what looked like a friendly greeting at the start ended with Chimaev shoving Machado Garry. The Irishman told Chimaev to act like a champion.

Ahead of his return on the same day as Ian Machado Garry, Bloody Elbow caught up with rising lightweight star Denis Frimpong. The OKTAGON fighter proudly represents both Ghana and Ireland, but when he was asked about his fellow Irishman’s upcoming bout at UFC Qatar, he responded, “Ian Machado Garry is Brazilian, mate.”
