Mark Kelly, illegal orders

The Pentagon is investigating Sen. Mark Kelly, a Navy veteran, over a video where he encouraged service members to refuse illegal orders. Former President Donald Trump accused Kelly of sedition, and the government may recall the senator to active duty for a military court trial.
The investigation is related to the Arizona senator's participation in a video Democratic lawmakers made urging members of the military not to comply with "illegal orders."
Former military members referred to the secretary of defense as "a blowhard," "a complete jackass" and "a total blue falcon."
The previously scheduled appearance came at a moment when Kelly, D-Arizona, is at the center of a Trump tempest.

Hegseth rips Mark Kelly's post about his service: 'You can’t even display your uniform correctly'
Secretary of War Pete Hegseth slammed a post that Sen. Mark Kelly made about his service, saying that, "your medals are out of order and rows reversed."
Ariz., and other congressional Democrats released a video last week letting service members know they can refuse illegal orders. Kelly is now being investigated for misconduct.
Kelly, a retired U.S. Navy captain, also has the standing to go to federal court if he is recalled to active duty to then be court martialed, said Rachel VanLandingham, a professor at Southwestern Law School and former Air Force lawyer.
