McLaren F1 duo Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri have officially been disqualified from the Las Vegas Grand Prix. After both drivers finished second and fourth, respectively, both drivers were referred to the stewards post-race.

According to Blick, while Norris lost a lot of race time after McLaren told him to lift and coast towards the end of the Las Vegas GP, the papaya team did not give Piastri the same warning. And Motor Sport Magazine reports that Norris’ extensive lifting and coasting alerted the FIA.

McLaren will be left “compromised” at the final two races of the 2025 F1 season after their double disqualification at the Las Vegas Grand Prix, it has been claimed.
