MOSCOW (Reuters) -Russian air defences shot down eight drones en route to Moscow on Monday, the city's mayor said, a day after a Ukrainian strike on a power and heat station cut off heating for thousands outside the Russian capital.
Last night, the Russian air defense forces destroyed 249 Ukrainian drones. This was announced on November 25 by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.According to the agency, the largest number of drones was shot down over the Black Sea — 116 units.
The rates of interception of both Russian drones and missiles fired into Ukraine through October slipped as Moscow continued its long-range bombardments.
