New York Jets head coach Aaron Glenn has made the decision to start veteran quarterback Tyrod Taylor against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 12. Justin Fields has officially been benched following his latest lackluster performance. Despite that, Glenn isn't ready to make multiple changes to his quarterback depth chart.

New York Jets cornerback Kris Boyd said he is "starting to breathe on my own now" days after he was shot in Manhattan early Sunday morning.

The NYPD said a shooting occurred in Midtown Manhattan early Sunday. The victim, which multiple reports named New York Jets player Kris Boyd, was listed in critical condition.

The New York Jets have had a lot of movement at the defensive tackle position during the 2025 NFL season and the latest one revolves around Khalen Saunders. Saunders, 29, was recently waived by the Jacksonville Jaguars leading to his signing in New York.

In March, Boyd, a defensive cornerback and specialty teams player, signed a one-year, $1.6 million contract to play for the Jets, according to the team. He suffered a season-ending shoulder injury during team scrimmage in August and hasn't played since.

Boyd was shot in the abdomen in Midtown Manhattan and rushed to the hospital, where he is listed in critical but stable condition.

With a Week 12 showdown rapidly approaching, Ravens head coach John Harbaugh had some nice things to say about this Jets cornerback.
