Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre is headed back to Ottawa this fall after winning a byelection in Alberta’s Battle River-Crowfoot riding.

Pierre Poilievre is considered the favourite to win today’s byelection, which experts deem “one of the safest Conservative seats in all of Canada.”

With Poilievre once again leading the party in Parliament, Andrew Scheer will return to his Opposition House leader duties. There will be changes to the party’s front bench, too.
