The Texas Rangers took a hit to their bullpen with Phil Maton signing elsewhere, but they could make an addition from the KBO who could help the issue.
Two years after they played big roles in a World Series title, the Texas Rangers have cut ties with outfielder Adolis García and catcher Jonah Heim.
As such, MLB insider Ryan Garcia rightly pointed out that this move doesn't really give the Rangers an edge in their efforts to reduce payroll. He said that's not the kind of deal a club makes while considering to trade Seager, who is signed to a 10-year, $325 million deal.
