India and China should view each other as "partners" rather than "adversaries or threats", Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said on Monday, as he arrived for a two-day visit to Delhi.

Foreign Minister Wang Yi on Monday discussed border peace, trade issues and bilateral exchanges with his Indian counterpart Subrahmanyam Jaishankar during a visit to New Delhi, as the two sides sought to strengthen cooperation.

Chinese foreign minister Wang Yi is set to meet with India’s prime minister Narendra Modi as part of a two-day visit to Delhi, the latest sign of warming ties between the two Asian giants.
