The Los Angeles Kings and Adrian Kempe have agreed to an eight-year, $10.625-million average annual value contract extension, ESPN's Emily Kaplan and Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman reported. The 29-year-old is currently playing in the final season of a four-year, $5.5-million contract he signed on July 8, 2022.
