Learn how to show charts with hidden data cells in Excel. When there is data that is hidden in your table, Excel will not show that information in the chart.

Click the mouse. Excel will select the chart, surrounding it with a thicker, light gray border. Press "Backspace" or "Delete." The embedded chart will vanish from the worksheet.

You can make a bar graph in Excel by first selecting the range you want to depict, and then using the dropdown menu to select the desired chart.
