It follows the making of Psycho, with Anthony Hopkins as Hitchock, Helen Mirren as Mrs. Hitchcock, and Scarlett Johansson as Janet Leigh.

The trailer also offers some glimpses of the casting process, with Anthony Perkins (as played by James D'Arcy) and Janet Leigh (as played by Scarlett Johansson) both appearing.
