Poorer nations at the Group of 20 summit in South Africa have urged world leaders to address climate action and debt issues affecting the developing world.

At the G20 Leaders Summit, Modi called for a global compact to prevent misuse of artificial intelligence and made a strong pitch for critical technologies to be human-centric.

Meeting ahead of the G20 summit, EU and South Africa leaders discussed bilateral topics and welcomed new clean trade and investment opportunities and cooperation on energy and critical raw materials.
