For the season, the 6-foot-3, 235-pound Sorsby has thrown for 2,518 yards with 24 touchdowns, five picks and a quarterback rating of 81.3. TCU's Josh Hoover, 6-foot-2 and 200 pounds, has thrown for 3,166 yards, 25 touchdowns with 13 interceptions and a quarterback rating of 71.7.

The Bearcats started the season 7-1, but have gone on a three-game skid as their offense and defense have taken a step back in November.

Minus arguably their best player, the Cincinnati Bearcats relied on their depth and pulled away from NJIT at Fifth Third Arena Monday, Nov. 24, 94-67. The 94 points tied their season-high set in the Western Carolina opener on Nov.

In a statement, UC Director of Athletics John Cunningham said a group of fans at Nippert Stadium used “offensive or religiously derogatory language.” Ben Criddle, a radio host on ESPN’s Utah affiliate, posted a video on X of a chant that broke out during the Bearcats’ game against the Cougars.

UC lost to the Horned Frogs in the season finale last season in the snow, 20-13. TCU beat Houston 17-14 late Saturday afternoon. UC last beat TCU in 2004 at Nippert Stadium when Gino Guidugli was the quarterback and Richard Hall ran for 143 yards and a touchdown.
