In Geneva, US and Ukraine officials report progress on ending Russia’s war but offer few specifics
Top U.S. and Ukrainian officials say they've made progress toward ending the Russia-Ukraine war. They discussed an American proposal for peace, which some European allies fear is too favorable to Moscow on Sunday in Geneva.
Ukraine talks in Geneva, President Zelensky says: "Putin wants legal recognition to what he has stolen...that's the main problem."
The initial 28-point peace plan now has 19 points, according to the official. It is unclear what points were removed.
Earlier, Trump said Ukraine had not been grateful for American efforts over the war, prompting Ukrainian officials to stress their gratitude for his support.

European leaders push back on US plan to end war in Ukraine, hope to amend it at Geneva meeting
The leaders of France, Germany and the UK huddled on the sidelines of the G20 summit in South Africa Saturday to discuss ways to support Kyiv and rewrite portions of the peace plan.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Sunday that he hoped “there will be a result” as top US, Ukrainian and European officials meet in Geneva, Switzerland, to discuss next steps for ending the war in Ukraine.
