Experts say another eruption from Hawaii's Kilauea volcano is imminent, as livestream footage shows lava beginning to flow from its summit this weekend.

An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.6 struck the southeastern portion of Hawaii's Big Island Wednesday just before midnight local time.

More damaging than the earthquake was the fatal tsunami that swept the island’s shores shortly afterwards. Campers at Halape, on the south coast in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, were awakened by the shaking and by rockfalls from the pali above that the shaking triggered.
