At least 128 people are now known to have died after a fire ripped through a Hong Kong residential estate this week, authorities say

A fire that broke out at the Wang Fuk Court building complex in the Tai Po region of Hong Kong on Wednesday afternoon (November 26) has yet to be fully extinguished more than 24 hours later.

Flames took hold in several apartment blocks of the Wang Fuk Court estate in Tai Po, a district in the northern part of the city, on Wednesday afternoon before engulfing other parts of the buildings.
