Allen became Penn State’s all-time leading rusher to highlight the Nittany Lions’ dominant 37-10 victory over Nebraska on Senior Day. Penn State honored 34 seniors ahead of kickoff, including Allen, injured quarterback Drew Allar, running back Nick Singleton and defensive end Dani Dennis-Sutton.
A Virginia native like Royster, Allen appeared to have the record on the final play of the third, but he was flagged for a face mask on the play. Four plays later, he took a handoff off right tackle to claim the record and, after Penn State converted a fake punt, Allen rumbled in for a 13-yard touchdown.
