Black Friday 2025 falls on Friday, Nov. 29. Since the Thanksgiving rush will be over and the holiday shopping season will be in full swing, many people will be rushing to the post office or to other delivery services to start shipping holiday mail and packages.

Shoppers can get an early start on searching for deals on popular items as major retailers release their store hours for one of the biggest holiday shopping days of the year.

The National Retail Federation’s annual holiday forecast predicted that retail sales in November and December will grow between 3.7% and 4.2% over 2024.

Shoppers are expected to shell out this Black Friday and are projected to spend an average of $542 over the five-day period.
