Good morning Dawg fans, and happy Friday. Tomorrow night, the Huskies will play UCLA in the world famous Rose Bowl for what could be UCLA’s last game at the legendary venue. Let’s get to the Dots! As usual, I have an opponent Q&A, this time with Ben Royer of the Orange County Register and LA Times, about UCLA football.
VICTOR GORDO, the mayor of Pasadena, Calif., the location of the Rose Bowl. The U.C.L.A. football team is said to be wanting to leave the historic stadium, which is 26 miles from campus. Such a move would shake Los Angeles.
He helped the Hawkeyes advance to four bowl games, including the Rose Bowl in the 80’s, and now he’s back as an honorary captain.
