Police officers in riot gear descended on Dundas Street in downtown London early Tuesday afternoon after police say a man was found with a gunshot wound near Wellington Street.

One man is in hospital with serious injuries following a shooting in Toronto’s King West neighbourhood. Gun shots rang out near King Street and Spadina Avenue early Tuesday morning. Paramedics told CP24 that one man in his 20s sustained serious, but non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.

Officers responded to reports of a shooting in the area of King Street West and Spadina Avenue just before 5 a.m.
