RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA - Thursday night, a preliminary 2.3 magnitude quake was registered near Idyllwild, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

Two earthquakes shook near Idyllwild in Riverside County’s San Jacinto Mountains on Thursday evening, Nov. 27. The first earthquake hit around 5:36 p.m. with a magnitude 3.8, according to the Southern California Earthquake Data Center. A second one was felt seconds later with a magnitude of 3.5.
