Michigan State traveled to Florida on Sunday ahead of the tournament, which will be played at Suncoast Credit Union Arena – capacity of 3,500 – on Florida SouthWestern State College’s campus. The Spartans are making their debut in the event, which was won by rival Michigan last year.

The Spartans end their season on Saturday against Maryland (4-7, 1-7) at Ford Field in Detroit. The season finale will be the last collegiate game for many on the roster. With it brought reflection and an overwhelming sense of gratitude from players and coaches alike, regardless of how the season has gone.

Michigan State is still finding additions to its next recruiting class, with signing day just a week or so away. The latest commitment now comes from wide receiver Rai'shawn Elmore, a consensus three-star prospect from Indian Trail,

Marsh, a former four-star recruit from River Rouge, posted 41 catches for 649 yards and three touchdowns in 11 games as a freshman. Through 11 games this year, he has 52 grabs for 577 yards and five scores before heading back home to Detroit this weekend.
