Three of the NBA’s biggest names have been doing it since the 2000s. James Harden, Kevin Durant, and Stephen Curry all had outstanding moments on Friday night. Durant has the easiest victory of the three with his Houston Rockets steamrolling over the Portland Trail Blazers. Durant added 30 points with ease against a team known for solid defense.

The Lakers were looking to move to 2-0 in the NBA Cup, and they were able to do exactly that with a 118-104 victory to also improve their overall record to 9-4. With two group play games remaining, the Lakers are in the driver’s seat to move on to the knockout round.

Orlando ends the game on an 11-0 run over the last 1:49 of the game as they defeated the Nets 105-98 to win their third game in a row. They move to 7-6 with the win. Orlando outscored Brooklyn 26-16 in the final frame with 21 of those points coming from Bane (9), Wagner (8) and Suggs (4). Brooklyn drops to 1-11.

The Los Angeles Lakers faced their toughest test of the season and failed, getting blown out by the Oklahoma City Thunder.

The Toronto Raptors had the biggest night by continuing to win and prove they may be a real playoff team in the Eastern Conference. Most expected the Cleveland Cavaliers to win the matchup as the superior team with most of their starters back in the lineup. Toronto instead surprised them to have a decisive victory at home.
