Dallas weather: Widespread heavy rain and gusty storms follow record heat
DALLAS - Dallas-Fort Worth is in for some wet changes after a record-breaking hot week. The week began with a new daily record high of 87 degrees on Tuesday at DFW Airport, breaking the previous record of 83 degrees. The average high temperature for this time of year is 66 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.
Starting Wednesday, there will be chances of showers and thunderstorms, according to the National Weather Service.
