Claim your share: AT&T data breach settlements available
In today’s consumer alert, you could be eligible to receive thousands of dollars if you were the victim of a recent data breach. AT&T customers can now file claims to receive as much as $7500 in a class action settlement over two data breaches.
The breach had a high number of impacted customers between May 1, 2022, and Oct. 31, 2022, with a smaller number of customers separately impacted on Jan. 2, 2023, according to AT&T.
But AT&T said the data breach did not include personal information. The incident is likely more of a worry for AT&T, which now knows of a greater potential for future breaches.
