The Minneapolis DFL’s endorsement of state Sen. Omar Fateh in the Minneapolis mayor’s race sparked numerous challenges. On Thursday, the state DFL party took the unprecedented step of revoking the local endorsement.

Sen. Omar Fateh's endorsement for Minneapolis mayor has been revoked by the Minnesota DFL. Fateh received the endorsement after a convention in July that resulted in the current Minneapolis mayor, Jacob Frey, challenging the endorsement multiple times.
