Downdetector, the platform used worldwide to track service outages, was briefly unavailable after Cloudflare’s network disruption caused its pages to fail, showing an error asking users to unblock a Cloudflare challenge.

According to Downdetector, reports of outages began at 5:14 a.m. on Tuesday morning. There were 9,975 reported outages at 5:44 a.m.

Sites across the web went down after a configuration file ‘grew beyond an expected size,’ triggering the outage.
