A former New Orleans Saints running back is hanging up his cleats. He joins a plethora of other Saints players to decide to walk away from the NFL this offseason, but he holds New Orleans near and dear to his heart as he does.
The 29-year-old defensive tackle left the Kansas City Chiefs for the New Orleans Saints in 2023 and has been a key piece of their defense in recent seasons.
The New Orleans Saints have an issue at quarterback and that issue might be bigger than it seems as the regular season inches closer.
"Hill is still a playmaker when healthy, but the Saints could save $10 million towards the 2025 salary cap if they cut him. It's unlikely Hill does get cut, but he won't be returning to action in the first month of the season either. The Saints can stash Hill on PUP so he doesn't have to take a 53-man spot," Kerr wrote.
