A month ago, Marcus Semien was a father of four with three years left on a lucrative contract in Texas. There’s been a couple of big changes around the house lately.

The New York Mets commenced what may be a large offseason overhaul Sunday night, trading their longest-tenured player, Brandon Nimmo, to the Texas Rangers for Marcus Semien.

Nimmo was the longest-tenured Met, a first-round draft pick way back in 2011 who had put his name all over the franchise record books over a decade in Queens.
