Rangers rumors: ‘Overwhelming likelihood’ is Corey Seager won’t be traded before Opening Day
This MLB insider believes the Texas Rangers will keep Corey Seager for Opening Day despite major offseason changes.
As such, MLB insider Ryan Garcia rightly pointed out that this move doesn't really give the Rangers an edge in their efforts to reduce payroll. He said that's not the kind of deal a club makes while considering to trade Seager, who is signed to a 10-year, $325 million deal.
