Ahead of Helldivers 2's arrival on Xbox Series X/S next week, Arrowhead Game Studios has revealed a Halo-themed

It's official! Halo: ODST is coming to Helldivers 2 when it launches on Xbox next week, and it's arriving in the form of a Legendary Warbond that's absolutely packed with armour sets, equipment and cosmetics. There's never been a "Legendary Warbond" in Helldivers 2 before, so this is a new tier for the game!

Arrowhead Game Studios has officially unveiled Helldivers 2’s upcoming crossover with Halo 3: ODST. The third-person multiplayer shooter is launching on Xbox Series X|S on 26 August, and it’s bringing along a Helldivers 2 x Halo: ODST Legendary Warbond consisting of familiar equipment.

Arrowhead personnel have defended the Helldivers 2 Halo Warbond price increase while also teasing the next “awesome” HD2 Premium Warbond.

Helldivers 2 is coming to Xbox Series X|S on August 26, and we have reason to believe a Halo collaboration will be coming as well thanks to the official Xbox account replying to some comments on YouTube.

This has been spotted by various eagle-eyed Xbox fans over the past 24 hours-or-so - they're basically added a "Buy on Xbox" section to the Helldivers 2 page where you can find out more information and be redirected to the Xbox Store.

According to the CEO of Helldivers 2 studio Arrowhead, the surprising move to put the popular PvE shooter on Xbox "was all PlayStation."
