In the run-up to Black Friday, those looking to buy Google’s Pixel 10 or Pixel 10 Pro smartphones can take advantage of the offers. Yet the offers feel somewhat familiar.

Google's line of smartphones is mostly known for its high-quality camera and helpful AI features, both of which make them great iPhone alternatives. As someone who has owned a Pixel for well over a year now, I have no problem recommending them to anyone looking for a smartphone upgrade at a reasonable price.

Performance on the base Pixel 9 should be about as good as the Pixel 9 Pro, as it has the same chip, the Google Tensor G4. It comes with less RAM, and didn’t always perform as well in my tests, but the Pixel 9 definitely felt like it kept up with the Pro in real world use—which is to say, it has some issues.
