Viewers without cable can watch “Wicked” on DIRECTV or Fubo. Both streaming services include live access to NBC and 5-day free trials, allowing viewers to watch at no cost. The broadcast is part of a larger promotional push for “Wicked: For Good,” directed by Jon M. Chu, which is slated for release on Nov. 21.

For Good” box office premiere this weekend, NBC is airing the 2024 movie musical, “Wicked,” at 8 p.m. ET on Wednesday, November 19.

NBC, which is next up in the broadcast network rotation for the awards, announced Tuesday that it will air the 78th Primetime Emmys on Sept. 14, 2026 from the Peacock Theater in downtown Los Angeles. The awards will also live stream the theater’s namesake, NBC’s sibling streamer Peacock.

Jordan starred for the Chicago Bulls throughout the 1990s, when NBC aired NBA games. NBC was the home of the NBA Finals from 1991 to 2002, with Jordan's Bulls winning six titles over that span. The announcement came at NBCU's Upfront presentation Monday.
