The second-seeded Spartans defeated No. 3 seed Colorado in front of a full DeMartin Stadium crowd during the third round (or Sweet 16) of the NCAA Tournament on Sunday afternoon, 2-1.

The No. 6 seed Hoosiers were upset 1-0 by Saint Louis in the second round of the NCAA tournament. IU (12-5-1) had previously beaten the Billikens (11-2-7) at Bill Armstrong Stadium by the same result Sept. 3.
