I-TEAM: Mother of liver donor speaks out, Bernie Kosar continues to recover
A grieving mother turned to the FOX 8 I-Team urging everyone to become an organ donor as she talked about the decision her family made to offer a transplant for Browns legend Bernie Kosar.
A Youngstown, Ohio, native who won a national championship at the University of Miami, Kosar played for the Browns from 1985 to 1993 and had stints with the Dallas Cowboys and Miami Dolphins. He threw for 23,301 yards and 124 touchdowns in his career, which ended in 1996. Kosar, 61, has 4 children with his ex-wife.
