The Canada Industrial Relations Board directed the company and the workers to resume airline service operations for all Air Canada and Air Canada Rouge flights at 2 p.m. ET Sunday after a hearing that ran late into the night Saturday.

The airline has cautioned that under Canada’s Airline Passenger Protection Regulations, customers are not eligible for compensation for delayed or cancelled flights, meals, hotels for situations outside the carrier’s control, such as a strike or lockout.

Several Air Canada customers visited the Regina International Airport on Saturday to try and sort out flights later in the week. On Saturday afternoon flight attendants were called back to work after Jobs Minister Patty Hajdu invoked binding arbitration.
