Cincinnati Open intern dies in 'tragic accident' ...

Tri-County Baptist Church Pastor Brian McManus confirmed to WCPO that Joshua Darst was the Cincinnati Open intern who died Monday evening.

The intern was working at the Lindner Family Tennis Center in Mason, Ohio, when the incident occurred Monday night.

Kei Nishikori withdrew from the U.S. Open on Wednesday, saying a back injury has not fully healed. Nishikori was injured in May and pulled out of the French Open.
