UAB offensive lineman Daniel Mincey was taken into custody at 12:40 p.m. CT on Nov. 22 and charged with aggravated assault with attempt to murder, according to Jefferson County Jail records. Two people were transported to UAB Hospital, according to AL.com.
The suspect involved in the alleged stabbing at UAB’s Football Operations Center has been identified as Blazers offensive lineman Daniel Mincey. Mincey is in his first year with the program after transferring to UAB from Kentucky this offseason.
Former UK football player Daniel Mincey was arrested after allegedly stabbing two UAB teammates early Saturday. Both victims are reported to be in stable condition.
