Jalen Hurts says offense is ‘building’ as a training camp with moving parts and injuries ends
A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith missed time in Eagles camp, leaving Hurts to work more with other receivers. The offense hasn't looked great, but Hurts says it's part of the process.
The Eagles are practicing without several members of the offense on Tuesday. The team released an injury report showing that left tackle Jordan Mailata is out with a concussion and that wide receiver DeVonta Smith will be held out due to a groin injury.
While neither Smith nor Brown appear to be dealing with any sort of issue that could threaten their Week 1 availability, the WR tandem figures to be held out of Friday's preseason finale against the Jets if at anything less than 100 percent health.
