An NFL season spans a long time. Sometimes, it even feels like an eternity if your team—be that real-world or of the fantasy football variety—falls woefully short of expectations.

The 2025 Fantasy Football Expo took place this past weekend in Canton, Ohio, and included several industry "expert" drafts. I participated in what's called the Jim Brown Division, a 14-team full-point PPR league (snake draft) that is typically very wide receiver heavy.

Today, I'm going to give you my pre-season DST rankings for the 2025 fantasy football season. But, before I do that, I wanted to briefly go over my strategy for drafting fantasy football defenses because I truly believe that there is one.
