The Dallas Cowboys will reportedly have star wide receiver George Pickens in the lineup when they host the Kansas City Chiefs in their annual Thanksgiving Day game on Thursday.
The question is how that comes to fruition. ESPN's Jeremy Fowler and Dan Graziano recently discussed this, with Fowler stating a franchise tag would give the Cowboys plenty of flexibility, but he wonders how Pickens would react to this.
Ahead of the matchup between the Cowboys and Chiefs on Thanksgiving day, set to face on Thursday at 4:30 p.m. ET, Pickens was dealing with a knee and calf injury. On Wednesday, the Cowboys announced that Pickens was a full participant, meaning he'll be in line to play against the Chiefs.
Pickens once again lit up the stat sheet, this time against the Eagles with 146 yards and a touchdown, along with several incredible catches.
The Philadelphia Eagles will not be taking the field on Thursday afternoon. Philadelphia is off for Thanksgiving, but will return to action on "Black Friday" to take on the Chicago Bears. The Eagles are coming off a loss against the Dallas Cowboys.
