Google , with Kairos Power, has selected Tennessee as the site of an advanced nuclear power plant that is expected to supply electricity to the Big Tech company's data centers in the U.S. southeast starting in 2030,

Google has partnered with startup Kairos Power to establish its first nuclear reactor in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, aimed at powering its data centers.

The three-way agreement between the Tennessee Valley Authority, the nuclear firm Kairos, and Google will provide power to data centers in the state and Alabama.
