More than 100 homes have been damaged after a tornado touched down in a residential area outside Houston, authorities in Texas said Monday. No injuries were reported. Photos and drone video posted on Facebook by the Harris County Precinct 3 constable showed roofs with shingles ripped off. Some debris blocked roads.
At least one tornado has been confirmed in parts of Harris County, Texas. A second unconfirmed tornado may also have struck nearby.

Tornado near Houston damages over 100 homes, officials say
HOUSTON - An apparent tornado caused damage in the northwest suburbs of Houston on Monday. According to storm reports from the National Weather Service, a funnel cloud was reported about 1:30 p.m. along U.S. Highway 290 southwest of Cypress. About 10 minutes later, a trained spotter reported a tornado near Champion Forest.

No injuries had been reported by local authorities as of Tuesday afternoon, when the National Weather Service confirmed that two tornadoes had ripped through northwest Harris County within a span of 30 minutes on Monday.
