The 11th-ranked Michigan State Spartans are set to battle the No. 16 North Carolina Tar Heels on a big Thursday afternoon of college hoops at the Fort Myers Tip-Off.

The matchup pits two of the game's top programs and a pair of undefeated teams in one of the two games featuring two ranked teams on the men's side on Thursday.

Michigan State traveled to Florida on Sunday ahead of the tournament, which will be played at Suncoast Credit Union Arena – capacity of 3,500 – on Florida SouthWestern State College’s campus. The Spartans are making their debut in the event, which was won by rival Michigan last year.
